If you want to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience from high above, a ride in a hot-air balloon might just be the perfect activity for you, discovering the peace and quiet that come from viewing the world from more than 500 meters high. This activity normally takes place at the very break of dawn, when the winds are most calm and stable. Let yourself go and discover the amazing scenery that our surroundings have to offer.

Another way to enjoy heights is on a paramotor, a paraglider wing powered by an engine. This paramotor gains its initial speed thanks to the wind generated at take-off, when the pilot starts the engine. Once in the air, the aerodynamic lift is provided by the thrust force generated by the engine located at the pilot’s back.

Lastly, free fall is a type of parachute jump which consists in jumping into the void from an aircraft, stopping such fall when the parachute opens. There are two categories depending on when this opening takes place: the parachute can be opened automatically just after jumping from the aircraft, which only allows 2-3 meters of free fall, or it can be opened manually by each person when they are about 1000 meters from the ground, after a free fall of around 3000 meters.
